Wildlife conservation is the practice of protecting species from endangerment in their habitats. There are numerous threats to species, ranging from natural to human threats.
The international organizations working for animal conservation are mostly fixated on a limited number of species and they work independently for their cause. On the contrary, the national government organizations designated to the cause of conservation are working on establishing wildlife parks and establishing policies against activities leading to the endangerment of species.
Once Pakistan’s national wildlife policy is materialised, it will become one of the limited countries with a national policy for wildlife conservation. It is important for the country to ensure the presence of healthy habitat and protect endangered species.
