World Urbanism Day is celebrated to draw global and national citizens’ attention towards urban and regional planning. With more than 50% of the global population residing in urban settlements, it becomes increasingly important to work towards urban and regional planning ideals for the larger public’s good. The ongoing health crisis triggered by a global pandemic has reminded the international community about the importance of a diverse and inclusive community that can collectively find solutions to complex community problems. A community management initiative with an inclusive and diverse approach to urban planning challenges can be effective. Iqbal Institute of Policy Studies has organized a webinar on World Urbanism Day.
