The transfer of files related to plot allotment through the electronic method will prove beneficial for maintaining the transparency and authenticity of the files. This initiative will make files traceable and in reach of the CDA officials.
A tracking number will also be provided to the applicant through which one could also get the status of their files checked. Through this system, the officers will be able to see the movement and authenticity of the files at any time.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) recently announced that files related to plot allotment would be transferred and uploaded through electronic means on the National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) system.
All the cases involving people whose land had been acquired by CDA will be transferred to the NRTC, and the progress of each case will be regularly uploaded. This method will reduce the inquiries for forged allotment cases and make the process transparent and authentic.
Furthermore, no file will be moved without entry into the NRTC system. All new and existing cases will be forwarded to the accounts officials to be made through the NRTC system.
A few years ago, the CDA’s wing that manages the cases of those lands that CDA had acquired and provided alternate plots received multiple inquiries for bogus allotment cases, and a mega wave of scam backdated allotment cases had been observed in the country. However, with the proper management of the NRTC system, the chances of fake and bogus allotment will be reduced drastically.
