The government is extending all possible support to the industries for stabilising the economy, boosting economic growth, eliminating unemployment, and improving people’s living standards. The current government has also taken a significant initiative by introducing “Made in Pakistan” products at the international level that played an important role in the development of the nation.
According to the Senate Deputy Chairman, the government is making efforts to solve the problems of traders, industrialists, and investors by ensuring an uninterrupted supply of electricity and gas to the industries to alleviate the hardships of the industrial sector.
The expansion of the industrial base is the government’s top priority as it plays a key role in the development and prosperity of the country. Industrial growth can promote economic and social development by producing a wide range of higher-value goods. It will stimulate the emergence of other businesses to meet the needs of factories. Expanding industries will make the country less dependent on manufactured imports from abroad. As economic growth depends on industrial development, such government policies will strengthen the economy. Furthermore, business activities will gain momentum and investors’ confidence will be restored. It also provides opportunities for investment and trade in Pakistan, which will benefit domestic and international investors and businessmen.
